Daffodil Days Photo Workshop
Join me in Newport, RI to capture scenes around the city during its iconic “Daffodil Days” celebration on Sunday April 13th from 3:30pm to sunset. We will focus on 3 to 4 different locations depending on timing and interest of workshop participants, including several on the stunning Cliff Walk. Topics covered with include general composition, camera settings, lighting and being able to ask Ryan any real time questions anytime during the workshop.
Recommended Equipment:
DSLR / Mirrorless Camera
Wide Angle Lens
Medium Telephoto Lens (nothing beyond 100mm is needed for this workshop)
Tripod Setup not necessary but helpful for sunset
Extra Batteries & memory cards
Other Information:
The weather can vary during this time of year and most of the locations will be by the ocean, so make sure to dress in layers and be ready for temps to drop as the workshop progresses. Locations won’t be far from the car and easy
Meeting Location:
The first location will be at Dunlap-Wheeler Park just over the border into neighboring Middletown where we will meet at 3:30pm. Park at the eastern end of the parking lot for Easton’s Beach as there’s no parking for the park itself. Then we will work over this amazing field of daffodils right on the water.
